Brief history
The Nigeria police staff hospital is a hospital under the Nigeria police Medical services of the Nigeria police force, it was established in 1992 as a clinic, rendering health services to only the police community in Osogbo, Osun state police command, it was formerly located at Dugbe divisional police station, as the clinic grew in the number of patients seeking health care at the clinic, the clinic was upgraded to a hospital status and moved to it's new and permanent site at G.R.A Oke-Fia Osogbo.

Investigation of outbreaks of diseases within the police

Provide training programs to police officers and their family members on issues of public environmental protection or work place safety.
Coordinate HIV testing services (HTS) among members of the Nigeria Police force.
Coordinate anti-retroviral therapy among members of the Nigeria Police force.
Coordinate prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV among wives of Police officers.
Coordinate surveillance activities on diseases of public Health importance in the Nigeria police force.
